As far as types of Pokemon in Emerald the best are Fire: Blaziken, Grass: Scepltile, Electric: Magnetric, Fighting: Blaziken, Flying: Tropius, Poisen: Wheezing, Ground: Swampert, Psychic: Gradevoir, Rock: Golem, Ice: Glalie, Dragon: All Of them, Steel: Aggron and all other types of would recommend using if you want a powerful team.
